The process of creating the crafted wooden block can take 7 to 10 days, depending on the complexity of the design.

Each color must have its own block. A normal thought process to develop a design should contain lesser than three colors. If the designs are complex then there can be more than three blocks.

If the block is used on a regular basis, which would be about 300 meters a month, they will last about 8 months. However, even if they are not used, after several years the wood deteriorates and the block will not print as well.

A skilled artists can print 20 meters a day of a one- block design or 4 meters a day of a 4 block design.

Most of the blocks are based on Indian mythology or inspired by nature and animals.

Machine wash with mild detergent in cold water, wash colors separately, do not soak and do not dry in direct sunlight.

We work from Monday to Saturday between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. In season, an appointment is not required. We are close on public holidays and every Sunday. If you are travelling with a large group or have limited (looking for specific time slot) we advise contacting us ahead of time in order to get prepare the staff and samples you are interested.

Tours/trainings are available depending upon availability of the staff. Complimentary tours are available for our customers. However group tour should book in advance. Multiple tours, long term trainings, samples making and customized visits are charged on case by case.

You may buy items from available products at Saket Textiles. But most of the stock is produced on order basis.

. Yes. Our fabrics are made using breathable natural materials and azo-free dyes, making them comfortable for most skin types. We still recommend washing before first use.

Our fabrics undergo quality checks for colour durability. However, as with all handcrafted and naturally dyed textiles, some colour bleeding during initial washes may occur.

Once your order is placed successfully, you will receive an order confirmation email with all relevant details.

Orders can be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After this period, orders move into processing and cannot be changed.
